Plug overview

Plug in and off you go? For a moment, because it is not that easy - at least not generally. After all, there are no quite uniform, global charging standards in electric cars. The good news: In Europe, at least a fixed standard exists. The type 2 plug is provided for AC and the CSS plug for DC. Both for charging stations in Europe, as well as for vehicles of European brands, these two systems have validity.

E cars derived from countries outside Europe have either a type 1 plug or a Chademo plug on board. With a charging cable, the station supports a suitable plug of type 2, the power supply is no problem even then. An overview of the mentioned and all other plug types will give you on this page. With the correct adapters or a mobile charging station you can also load each electric car or PHEVs on the household socket or the CEE sockets. Blue CEE plug is known from campsites, the red CEE connections are typical construction drum plugs. With the adapter solutions from our shop in the trunk you are flexible for all eventualities.

He is called Type 2 plug and yet he belongs to the first place - from the very simple reason, because you are most often encountered in the European room. Since 2014, he has been a standard within the EU.

Better, there could be no marketing campaign: because the company Mennekes was decisively involved in the development, it is also on the basis of this alternatively from the Mennekes plug.

Exactly from there comes this system, which realizes fast charges, which are completed at best after a relaxed pocket.

There is no major explanations for this: Everyone has them in numerous design at home, in the garage or in the garden. The household socket is also referred to as a Schuko socket, simply the short form of protective contact. Each electric car can be loaded on it - due to the low charging power, however, you should plan time for it. Therefore, in this context, the concept of snoring charge exists.
